Manu Gim is a photographer born in Seoul, South Korea,
raised in Los Angeles, USA, and based in Paris, France.

Having been fascinated with the arts and history from a very early age,
he had dedicated his life to becoming an art historian.

Upon realizing that such passion derived not only from academic curiosity,
but more so from a need and desire for creative self-expression,
he transitioned into photography as an artist.

His long-term projects explore the relationship between humanity and nature,
as well as his introspections through the means of light and its colors.
